THE GARDEN Each year it takes a tremendous amount of time and energy to transform our garden from its sleepy winter state...
...to its lovely green & growing peak; full of fresh fruit & veg!
Each year it is due to the tireless efforts of Crofter Jonny that we are able to enjoy such wonderful bounty from the garden...Thanks Crofter Jonny!
Our mainstay crops are the most amazing potatoes, Additionally we are lucky enough to enjoy awesome onions, wonderous cabbage, fabulous broccoli, lovely cauliflower, the sweetest peas, brilliant runner beans, marvelous courgettes and incredible beetroot.
We can't forget about the salad selection! There are mixed greens galore! Plenty of lettuce, spinach and radish to make a gourmet salad! After several years of getting established, our soft fruits seem to be finally taking hold. The rhubarb, on the other hand, has a mind of its own and is threatening to take over the croft! And amazing produce aside, there is one more outcome from a hard day in the garden...
